Kirkplace is a church that desires to be a place where the love of God overflows to and through people of all ages. This of course includes kids!

You may be wondering what will be happening during the service and how your children might be involved. We love having kids in with us from the beginning of the service so we can worship God all together. After some singing, announcements and a ‘meet and greet’ time, there is a time for the Kids Talk. Kids are usually called to come down the front, and Parents are welcome to accompany them.

Afterwards they are told where to gather in order to go to their various programs. The 3-5 year olds go to Bubbles, whilst those in Primary school participate in a program called Splash.

These groups involve singing, games, bible reading, craft/activities and discussion as we strive to partner with families in seeing Gods love overflow in and through the kids at Kirkplace. Parents are always welcome to come and check it out with their kids.

If your child is under 3, feel free to keep them in the service with you or make use of our Creche ministry in our Cry Room next to the entrance.

Please note if you come to the 9am service, the primary aged children's program is held in a different building which we hire. They walk there together after the kids talk.

During the week

Thrive: On Thursdays during school term there is a woman’s group called Thrive. This runs from 10am-12pm and includes a childrens program for under 5’s. This includes singing, stories, games, Bible stories and craft. If you come along please pack a morning tea for your child as there is a time for all the kids to eat at the beginning of the program.

Bertha Sun is our Childrens and Families co-ordinator. She is reachable via email

Important Note: All the people involved in kids ministry at Kirkplace are required to get NSW Working with Childrens checks, as well as participate in the Presbyterian churches "Breaking the Silence" Training program.
